IT Support Engineer

Position Responsibilities:
Provide technical support primarily to Non-Linear Editing (NLE) facilities, MAC terminals and office desktop computers of the department. Secondary support to other departments in Macintosh-platform by software installation and software troubleshooting. Provide initial support in local area network (LAN) connection troubleshooting and lay-out assessment within the department. Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance to SAN/NAS and render farm server to minimize machine downtime.

Job Requirements:
a) Graduate of BS Electronics and Communications Engineering (Licensed ECE is an advantage) or BS Information Technology;

b) Preferably with at least six (6) months working experience a IT Support role or with completed internship related to IT Support job function;

c) With knowledge in PC operations - Windows / Mac operating systems, both software and hardware;

d) Knowledge in data cabling and troubleshooting;

e) With background on configuring basic Home Routers/Modem;

f) Knowledge in basic Computer Networking (IPV4, wireless networks)

a) Can work in shifting schedule, willing to extend working hours;

b) Can work with minimum supervision;

c) Team player, patient and with initiative;

d) Good analytical and problem-solving skills;

e) Good collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills;

f) Excellent organizational and time management skills;

g) Willingness to report on shifting schedule;

h) Willingness to work on weekends
