Segment Producer (News and Public Affairs)
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise the shoot, and conduct interviews.
- Plan the visual requirement of the shoot and discuss story treatment with the videographer and director before shoot
- Write scripts.
- Time code the video materials and oversee the editing of his/her story.
- Drafts outline of the story and submit to the Executive Producer.
- Closely supervise the researcher in the coordination of the story.
- Checks the accuracy and correctness of the content of his/her story.
- Responsible for handling production budget for shoot
- Coordinates with social media producer regarding materials that can help in story generation
- Monitors weekly airing of program
- Participate and offer ideas in the brainstorming
- Constantly offer ideas to improve the rating of the program
- Attends story con and post mortem of the program
- Reports to the EP regarding his/her story.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of Mass Communication course or any related courses
- With good communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask
- Must be creative, with good writing skills
- Updated with current events
- Resourceful and dependable

- Can work with minimal supervision
- Can work on early call time
- Can deliver accurate and complete work
