SENIOR FINANCE STAFF

Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintains and updates financial records of the foundation
    • Petty Cash safekeeping, monitoring and replenishment
    • Liquidation Checking
    • Cash Advance and Request for Payment Checking
    • Monitoring of outstanding checks
    • Cash Flow preparation
    • Bank transactions
  • Responsible for providing administrative support
  • Prepares the Annual Budget of the foundation
    • Project budget preparation
    • Annual Budget preparation
  • Participates in the financial audits
  • Updates internal systems with financial data: SAP encoding
  • Keeps accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Deposit of daily receipt
    • Month -End Update of passbooks and time deposits
    • Unpaid purchase order monitoring
    • Receiving donations
    • Collection Receipt Book posting
    • Post-dated checks monitoring
    • Gift check monitoring
    • Month End Reporting of Subject of Appeal donation
  • Tracks bank transactions
  • Facilitates permit application and renewal (DSWD, PCNC, Business Permit, BIR tax exemption
  • Assists with the Annual Report Preparation
  • Books travel arrangements for field deployments of staff
  • Reviews, sign and dry seal pledges issued to hospitals and doctors, drugstores and other establishments
  • Accepts cash and check donations
  • Issues official receipts for donations received
  • Maintains records of official receipts of donors
  • Prepares Certificate of Donation (COD) for donors and project partners (3 copies)

Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration and related courses
  • CPA, an advantage
  • With at least two years’ work experience in related field
  • With relative experience in a foundation/NGO setting
